PsychOdelicHe was a small dot but as I grew closer I recognized only the cloudy gray eyes I’d locked onto the first day of my budding maturity. They were the color of a newborn baby’s and they intimidated me, but I couldn’t stop staring. I don’t know why. He was sitting beside his father, dusted in white sand and small beads of sweat glistened on his temple. He smiled despite his past actions, and his obvious discomfort. I reached for his hand and placed his leathery palm on the soft skin of my belly. He didn’t pull me forward, but pointed with his other hand towards the horizon. &nPsychOdelic
